breakdowns associated with the reactor vessel head corrosion issue at the
Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station. Represented the station on
engineering quality assurance issues at periodic Company Nuclear Review
Board (CNRB) meetings. Responsible for program development and

the station at NRC Regional Office and Headquarters meetings. Oversaw
the development and implementation of upgraded plant Technical
Specifications. Supervised the station Emergency Planning staff including
meetings with local, State and County Officials on the implementation of
the off-site emergency plan. Oversaw the conduct of station emergency

Steam Electric Plant during the development of a graded approach to
implementation of regulatory requirements. Brunswick was the lead plant
in the country developing a program that prioritized new regulatory
requirements, assessed the value of their implementation, comparing that
to other station priorities with the goal of a balanced, cost-effective
implementation of new initiatives. |

Regulatory Affairs Supervisor, Bechtel Power Corporation, Zimmer
Nuclear Power Station. Acted as the Bechtel counterpart to the on-site
Regulatory Affairs Manager for the Cincinnati Gas & Electric Zimmer
Station following the NRC confirmatory action letter suspending
construction activities at the station. Shadowed the Regulatory Affairs
Manager in his day-to-day duties providing guidance and advice on
interaction with the NRC and resolution of regulatory issues. |

Systems Engineer, Bechtel Power Corporation. Performed system
engineering duties for a variety of NSS systems for several nuclear power
stations. Duties included two on-site assignments at the Duane Arnold
Energy Center providing technical resolution of NRC Generic Letter Issues
including 79-14 (plant configuration relative to seismic analysis) and 80-
10 (design of concrete block walls). |

Design Engineer, Bechtel Power Corporation. Was responsible for design
development, design calculations and technical input to the Midland Final
Safety Analysis Report for NSS systems. Acted as the technical liaison
between Bechtel and Babcock & Wilcox on NSS systems for the
Greenwood Energy Center including preparation of Preliminary Safety
Analysis. |
