2007 - Present	Senior Engineer, Advent Engineering Services, Inc. - Performed Owner Acceptance Reviews (OAR) of vendor documents, architectural drawings and specifications for door procurement in support of building turnover. This latter task required validation reviews of fire, security, quality, and severe weather withstand requirements and her efforts resulted in significant cost savings and value to the client (from correcting errors and resolving inconsistencies). Assisted with the disposition of a Non-Conformance Report associated with re-bar vendor drawings.
2002 - 2005	Physics and Physical Science Teacher, Mattawan Consolidated Schools, Mattawan, Michigan.
2000 - 2001	Substitute and Intern Teacher,Portage Central High School, Mattawan Consolidated Schools.
1981 - 1985	Mechanical Engineer, Bechtel Power Corporation - Ann Arbor, Michigan. Lead mechanical engineer for design modifications on operating nuclear power plants including HVAC, fire protection and EQ valve replacement. Originated and checked design calculations for heat loss/heat gain, ductwork static pressure loss, and sound pressure level. Worked on specification and procurement of HVAC equipment. Closed out design change packages, updating all affected drawings and documents associated with the modification. Prepared the procedures and performed walkdowns at the plant site. Prepared correspondence to clients, venders, and field construction.
