Performs graphical, word processing, and other administrative support for both in-house and client supported projects. Assists in Quality Assurance Program management. Responsible for processing accounts payable and receivable and administration and upkeep of the company's computer system, LAN, corporate and project records, technical library, and policy manual.
1992-2000 Administrative Assistant, Junior League of Ann Arbor, Inc. Assisted the president and committee chairs in maintaining volunteer and fundraising database programs. Also responsible for preparing monthly meeting handouts, arranging meeting space, processing mail for all committees and maintaining archive files.
1982-1991 Human Resources Representative & Administrative Assistant, Bechtel Power Corporation. Administered hiring process to include recruitment, hiring and orientation and assisted employees with company benefit and policy concerns. Acted as liaison between the Ann Arbor office and Maryland head office. Forecasted and monitored monthly/yearly department overhead budgets. Prepared annual forecasts and summaries of EEO/Affirmative Action Reports.
