A basic foundation for much of Tetra Tech Advent’s regulatory program, analytical, and design expertise results from a strong background by much of its staff in system engineering (including PWR, BWR, and fuel enrichment facility systems). This strong background is a culmination of staff experience derived from such valuable sources as US Nuclear Navy, Nuclear Utility SRO, Reactor Vendors, major Architect-Engineer firms, and post-installation testing. This experience is shared among other Tetra Tech Advent staff through both formal and on the job training. Such expertise is critical and has been instrumental to successful operability determinations, safe shutdown assessments, environmental qualification, as well as new design and design modifications.

Recently as a validation of our expertise, Tetra Tech Advent provided two of its staff on-loan to a nuclear utility in interim roles of mechanical and electrical, instrumentation, and controls system engineering supervisors while a search was being made for permanent replacements.
