Tetra Tech Advent has extensive experience in evaluating and developing the technical basis for demonstrating that critical equipment is capable of continued safe operation for renewed license terms as well as addressing initial license term age-related failures and maintenance issues. Tetra Tech Advent staff has expertise in many if not almost all of the aging management programs identified in the US NRC Generic Aging Lessons Learned (GALL) Report Revision 2 to comply with license renewal requirements in 10 CFR 54.
Tetra Tech Advent has experience in both developing and implementing aging management programs. Tetra Tech Advent personnel currently participate in IEEE Standard Working Group 3.4 responsible for developing and updating IEEE Std 1205 (Aging Assessment), which is a major input to the GALL Report. This experience has allowed Tetra Tech Advent participants to provide key inputs to approaches endorsed in this standard. Tetra Tech Advent staff has also developed a unique expertise for addressing electric cable condition monitoring.
