His professional experience includes 20 years as a small company Owner and consultant, 2 years of nuclear consulting for an elite company, 9 years with a major architect engineering company where he held 8 positions of increasing responsibility, and almost 6 years as a US Nuclear Navy Submarine Officer and Nuclear Power School Instructor.

Douglas C. Wood, PE

Mr. Wood has over 35 years of commercial nuclear power industry experience related to licensing, analysis, assessments, design, and operational support derived from work at a reactor vendor, a major A/E, and a senior level consulting company. His specialties include maintenance and use of current licensing bases, independent technical and program reviews, facility safety analysis, design basis document (DBD) programs, environmental qualification, probabilistic risk assessment (PRA), nuclear plant fire protection safe shutdown analysis, non fire safe shutdown risk analysis, 10 CFR 50.59 reviews, licensing support for design and operational issues, and project management of complex multi-discipline engineering problems.

Michael J. Wylie

Experience Summary

Mr. Wylie has over 30 years of project management, direct supervisory, technical, licensing, corrective action, and assessment / auditing experience in the nuclear field, including engineering and licensing support to 16 commercial nuclear stations. He provides senior level task-oriented services related to cooling system design and analysis, regulatory compliance issues, UFSAR improvement projects, design engineering, design bases reconstitution, Accident Analysis, Environmental Qualification (EQ), Fire Protection, 50.59 Evaluations, configuration control, and new plant licensing [Combined License (COL) applications and design certifications (DCDs)]. He has provided support to utilities during seven NRC audits for Regulatory Guide 1.97, EQ, and Appendix R fire protection. He is a certified quality assurance lead auditor.
